Yes, I know, it seems everything I write in my journal are just orders... but then, I don't have too much to say either xDD

I've just placed a double order, one in YesAsia, and another in SasugaBooks ^^ I may have waited a bit, but... since I didn't get too many gifts back at my birthday (just one origami car... ¬¬), this is my revenge! tehehe~

I've take advantage of the FREE shipping promotion in YesAsia, and I've ordered novels #29 and #30 of Slayers Special (the only ones of the SP saga that I don't have scans :3), as well as Slayers Select #1 (to take a look at it and see how is it), and~~ yes! Falshes *_________________* and then, REVOLUTION and Light·Magic #1 at Sasuga ^_^

They'll take between 3 and 4 weeks to arrive, I don't know if I can wait that long~~ xD

And I say "last" because probably it's going to be the last one I order this year :/ now I have to save enough money for several travels I want to make this year ^^
Along with the Slayers Royal 2 guidebook, I ordered as well this 3 books, but they take a bit longer to arrive. They are:
- "Slayers Original" (kind of a guidebook for the scenario of Return, Great and Gorgeous)
- "Super Secrets of Slayers" (I'll try to extract the table of contents to see what it contains)
- "Countless Naga-sama" (MAGIUS)
They're mostly text, but the MAGIUS have several images that I'll scan ^^

Royal 2 game + guide

Yahoo~! I just beat the Slayers Royal 2 *_*
Seeing that it was impossible to play the PS1 version in any emulator (and since I don't have a real one :_:), I decided to buy the SegaSaturn version (since I couldn't find it to download ^^u) and try it. I recived it last week, and it worked just fine! ^^ then, thanks to a japanese guide I found, I could beat it this morning *_* I had bought the official guide too, but it arrived precisely today :3 well, I can still use the guide to fill information on my site, hehe ^^
4 games beaten, 1 more to go!!

Lost Slayers English version, 02/29 update

As I said, each update of the English version of my site (from now on, "Lost Slayers (E)") will be announced here ^^ although it's just a little one, with several images of the videogames, and all the information about the big announcement of the new TV series season ^_^
Being such an important news, for now I'll put all the information available here, just keep reading ^^

Probably, you already know, but as it's possible that there're people who doesn't, here you have all the information about it. At last, after 11 years since the end of Slayers TRY, our favourite series will have a new and 4th TV series season ^_^ and no, it's not neither a joke nor a rumour (this is not Slayers Again), it's an information that comes from the best sources: the author, Hajime Kanzaka, in an interview with his Fan Club (Mega Brand Project), and an article in the Dragon Magazine. There's very little information yet, but you'll find all of it here, this section will be updated as soon as more information is available.

It seems that the idea came as this year is the 20th anniversary of the Dragon Magazine, the publication that published all the Slayers Special novels (the main novels were directly released as novels). Besides, next year (2009) will be as well the 20th anniversary of the birth of Slayers (the first chapter, Prince of Saillune, was published in 1989), so it's possible that this helped a bit in the idea of a new season of the TV series, since 11 years have already passed since the end of TRY, and 7 years since Premium, the last animated adventure.

We don't have too much information at this moment, but there're already some things we know. On one hand, the Dragon Magazine report says "new adventures of Lina, Gourry and company", with a big double-page image of the four protagonists, and Xelloss at the back, so we can know that this new animation will have the 5 characters, in some way or another. On the other hand, it says the story will be an original one, like in TRY and the movies, so it won't be based in any previous story of the novels. Many people would like it to animate the second arc of the main novels (Luke, Millina and company), or the more recent manga Knight of Aqualord, but at the same time, it'll be good to have an entirely new adventure, that surely will bring us new characters, new locations, and new adventures and disadventures. The next Dragon Magazine will come out in the second half of March, and it's possible that it'll have more official information.

The Dragon Magazine gives as well information about the re-publishing of the 15 main novels, with new cover illustrations by Rui Araizumi. This new illustrations will be panoramic, and will have several characters from each novel. The promo imagen that comes with the article shows characters from the 3 first novels (Lina, Gourry, Zelgadiss, Rezo, Zolf, Rodimus, Dilgear, Nunsa, Rubia, Halcifom, Lantz, Seygram, Gio-Gia, copy Rezo, Eris, Rahanim and Sylpheel), so we can't be entirely sure if each new cover will have characters just from the same novel or some from the other novels as well. The first new-covered novel will be published in May.

We have a bit more information about the new season, but this is not official. It comes from an interview of Hajime Kanzaka by his Fan Club, so this next information can change in the future, in one way or another. In that interview, Kanzaka says that the Dragon Magazine issue of September (which comes in July) will have a Slayers Special (Lina and Naga) special chapter, related in some way with the new story of this 4th season, and will serve as a kind of promotion for it. This season would be sepparated in 2 parts (possibly with 13 chapters each), and each half would have a different original story (as in the first season, where the first half is centered in Rezo, and the second in copy Rezo). The director of the project would be Takashi Watanabe, the former Slayers anime director, and the animation group would be the former as well, J.C. Staff. This animation will have as well the same dub actors for the leading characters (Megumi Hayashibara and company).

Finally, as a personal comment of QP/Diana (our greatest informator, along with Patas, we have to thank them a lot for making available the access to this information for the non japanese speaking people), she thinks that this animation could start next Fall, as the next anime season in Spring is really at hand, and they have holidays at Summer, so it could be possible to start it in Septermber or so. If not, it would come next year.

Jeje, I just got two more items I bought a few weeks ago through eBay, although technically they're very similar, since the two are guides for the ''Slayers Royal'' videogame, one for the PlayStation version (104pages), and the other for the SegaSaturn version. (112pages). I have to look them carefully yet, but with just a glance I've already seen a battle near the end that I've never encountered while playing =) Probably it'll take a bit of time, but eventually I'll scan both books and upload them to my site ^^ (which I'm already translating into English ^^)

Tehehe ^^ I've just received 2 more items I ordered a few weeks ago ^^ along with SP novels #24 & #25 (which I received last week), I ordered, 2nd hand, the "Slyaers Fight Super Guide" and the "Comic Anthology" (the one with the "Slayers Road of the Ring" oneshot), and here they are ^_^

As I already knew, the "Comic Anthology" has 7 short stories (each between 20 & 26 pages) of the same series of the "Maburaho VS Slayers!?": Slayers, Orphen, Louie, FMP!, Scrapped Princess, Maburaho and Chrno Crusade. I'll translate as well these stories, and I'll make an v2 of the Slayers one, since now I can have better quality scans.

The "Slayers Fight Super Guide" is just that, a guide to the "Slayers Fight" TCG, explaining how to play, with a complete card list, and even a mini manga story, where a girl (game player) plays with the game designer. The book comes with an envelope with 2 promotional cards ^^

Isashiburi da ne~!! It's been a while since my last entry here ^^u but, as I more or less keep this journal for Slayers related entries, there are times with not much to say ^^U

As some of you may know (it's in my last entry ^^u), I bought the "Maburaho VS Slayers!?" book and I wanted to translate it :3 and I just started to do it ^_^

I've already translated (into Spanish) 12 of the 15 stories it contains, and right now there are 8 chapters edited as well. I expect to have it entirely translated and edited in about a month or so ^^ Now, I have to think which chapters I'm going to translate into English as well =/ of course I'll do the 3 Slayers related chapters, but the others? People who like those other series may want them, but that would take a lot more of time, mostly for the re-edition of difficult pages ^^u
On the other hand, I could give you the translations in a TXT so you can have the Spanish version with the English text =/ I don't really know what to do yet...

What I do know is that I'll post the entire Spanish version just after finishing it, so you can at least see (if not understand yet) what happends in those chapters =)

I've just received my "Maburaho VS Slayers!?" book *_* (truly, a thousand thanks to nimry for having it in her site, I'd never even heard about it before that), and it's great *_* I didn't know it was that big, I expected it to have several tiny chapters and then that race event; but it has 15 chapters!! *_* although just the first and the last are the crossovers, the other 13 are mini-adventures of the characters of their own series.
Probably I'll begin scanning and trying to translate those 2 crossovers, and if everything goes OK, then I'll try to do the others =) (all kanji has its furigana, so I hope it won't be too difficult)

The Wandering Parcel

I finally received the last parcel I had ordered from Amazon Japan. It's curious how it could be just one day from Japan to Seville, going through Amsterdam and Brussels (+11,000 Km), and then almost one week from Seville to Granada (+250 Km) X_X well, at least and last I have it ^_^ as I said in my last entry, this parcel contains:

- Slayers Special #22: G Hunter Folkus
- Slayers Special #23: Break of Destiny
- "Secrets of Slayers"
- Flame of Recca #1-2-3, wideban ver.

As I suspected, the "Secrets of Slayers" is all of it just text, withouth any image, chart or anything. I'll try to extract some info from it, but it'll be difficult or almost impossible ^^U but then... it's an encouragement to try to learn Japanese as soon as I can.

Well, I've just put my second order from Amazon Japan ^_^ let's hope this time I won't have to wait as long as the last time :3
I've ordered 3 "Flame of Recca" wideban version for a friend, and for me, 2 SP novels (#22 "G Hunter Folkus" & #23 "Break of Destiny"), the "Secrets of Slayers" book (slayers no himitsu) and the DragonAllStars special "Maburaho VS Slayers!?", which has that special manga nimry tells us about in her site ^_^ just as soon as I get it, I'll start scanning and translating it *_*

Now, I have to start thinking what will I order next time (in 1 or 2 months). I would like to have the "Slayers VS Orphen" novel, but it costs ¥1,900, and that's even buying it second hand... Moreover, it would cost ¥1,200 more for shipping costs and ¥300 for each book I order, so if I order just that, it would cost around ¥3,500... almost $30 for just a novel =/ I'll probably order something else (more SP novels) and that novel will have to wait a bit =3

P.S.: oh, I almost forgot this... several weeks ago I ordered 2 Slayers Delicious novels (#1 & #4) from SasugaBooks, just because I wanted to see how are those, and what differences them from the SP novels. They told me that the fourth was already out of print, but at least they found the first, and I'm expecting it to arrive in a few days ^^

[Edit] I just received today the Delicious novel ^^ it's very small, I expected it to be around the same size of the SP novels, but it's almost half size. Here I show you a photo of an animecomic, an SP novel & the Delicious one. The good thing is that it has different images than the SP adaptation, and it seems that all the kanji has furigana, so I should be able to translate it in time =)

1st entry~!!

Hi~! This is, at least, my first LiveJournal entry =)
As I say in my profile, I have my own Slayers website, in Spanish, and now that it's its 5th anniversary, I want to start to translate it into English to make it known worldwide =) and through a LiveJournal I can make it a bit more easy and, besides, I'll be able to make known the newest Slayers (and Kanzaka's) news as well ^^

It'll take a lot of time to get all my site translated, so I'll do it page by page, linking all of them with its translation when it's done (more or less like Tokitama's site). For now, this is the main menu in English, for those who want to visit it:
